Cancellation

The 3 Bridges Marathon may be cancelled, postponed, and/or rerouted for any reason at the sole discretion of the Race Committee, including but not limited to extreme weather, snow, ice, rain, lightning, cold, heat, and/or flooding.  Remember that the marathon is in December in Arkansas.  In light of weather-related events in Dallas, Memphis, Fayetteville, and Little Rock, it is critical that before you register and are charged your entry fee for the 3 Bridges Marathon, you read and confirm via your registration your understanding of all event policies.

Registration Fees

Registration fees for the 3 Bridges Marathon are non-refundable, but are transferrable through the RunSignUp site.  See Transfers and Deferral Option policy.  Registration for the marathon is $125 plus service fee. Late registration will be offered at packet pick-up for $150 plus $3 service fee through Paypal or Venmo, or cash. There is no race day registration.

Deferral Option

Registrations are not deferrable.

Waiting List

When the cap is reached, the race is full and regular registration will be closed.

Transfers

Registration in the 2024 marathon may be transferred for a $20 fee through November 17, 2024, by following the transfer option in your RunSignUp account.  There will be no exceptions after this date. This is the only means by which your entry can be transferred. No other records will be kept of your transfer, including emails, verbal requests, or other communications.

Inclement Weather

The 3 Bridges Marathon inclement weather policy is that the race is on unless weather makes the roads and/or course impassable and/or unsafe or expected to be unsafe for runners, volunteers, and/or race officials at any point on race day.  See Cancellation policy above.  Facebook and email will be used to keep the runners up to date.  In the event of upstream flooding that makes any section of the course impassable but otherwise safe for the event to be held, an alternate uncertified marathon course will be used.  All decisions are at the discretion of the Race Committee.

If the race has to be halted after it has begun, runners will be notified by the volunteers at each aid station. We have four designated areas for runners to seek shelter until a trolley can retrieve you. These are (1) Cook’s Landing Pavilion (approx. Miles 2 and 17.5 at the NLR base of the Big Dam Bridge)-  (2) the permanent restroom located near the dog park aid station (approx. Miles 4 and 15.5)-  (3)  the Clinton Presidential Library (approx. Mile 9.5)-   (4)   and the permanent restroom located near the Two Rivers Park parking lot (approx. Miles 21 and 24.)

Waiver

The marathon waiver is included with your online registration.  Specifically note the Event Policies listed above regarding cancellations, refunds, deferrals, waiting list, transfers, and inclement weather.  Online signature of the waiver upon registration acknowledges your understanding and compliance to all event policies.
